Airfare:

OSU has 2 contracted travel vendors. We highly encourage you to use them and give your index number so the cost will be directly billed to the department, rather than sitting on your personal credit card. If you buy your ticket on-line, you will be responsible for getting a quote from Teel’s or Azumano prior to your travel, which indicates the cost of the airfare if you had used their services. You will only be reimbursed for up to the quoted cost. If you buy your ticket online and fail to get a quote from them first, you will be asked to sign a Memorandum of Understanding saying that you will not do this again. Failure to comply with this may result in not being reimbursed for future airfares.

Teel’s phone number is 541-758-0808, Azumano is 541-757-9792. Give them an idea of the where & when of your trip, and they will email you several sample itineraries. When you’ve chosen one, I will receive an email to approve your flight. Suggestion – since we have only 24 hours to approve the ticket price you have been quoted, please don’t do this Friday night or Saturday.

There will be a few items that you will need to know to complete the booking:

1. The OSU index –plus your activity code if you have one.
2. You will be asked for the account code. Out of state travel is 39515 and foreign travel is 39615.

Other expenses reimbursement:

You are eligible to receive reimbursement for many other travel costs associated with your trip, as long as you bring us original receipts within 45 days of your travel. We will reimburse you for items such as taxi fare, bus fare, hotel costs, food costs including 15% gratuity, mileage if you drive to the airport in your personal vehicle, parking costs at the airport, etc.
