University Honors College

Research and experiential learning are central components of the honors curriculum at Oregon State. As a member of the UHC, you will work with top university faculty on cutting-edge research, and the honors thesis gives every student the opportunity to make an original contribution to his or her field. Special resources and events, such as regular receptions designed to connect honors students with campus faculty, make research engagement accessible to all students in the UHC, regardless of major or background.

Experiential learning in the UHC, though, is about more than research. Unique field courses, student activities and service opportunities make the world a classroom. Honors students engage directly with contemporary challenges, bridging classroom and community. With a range of funding sources, knowledgable advisors and a flexible curriculum, the UHC is committed to supporting our students as the pursue - and achieve - their individual passions and dreams.
