Honors College students have access to several study and social spaces. Originially located in the basement of Strand Agricultural Hall, the HC Student Learning Center was named the "SLUG" - Students Learning UnderGround - in recognition of one of the Willamette Valley's most familiar denizens (with a nod to the Honors students who enjoyed sleeping on the room's couches). Even after moving above ground and out of Strand, the HC SLCs - which feature free printing, computers, and lounge areas - remains a mainstay of the HC experience.
