Congrats to winter 2023 HC graduate Abigail DeBrine! Abigail earned an H.B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and completed her thesis, “Integration of Amino Acid Sequence and Alphafold2 Structural Predictions for Chlamydia trachomatis Polymorphic Membrane Proteins,” under the mentorship of Dr. Daniel Rockey, associate professor of bacteriology in the Carlson College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, Abigail plans on pursuing full time scientific research before she continues on to a Ph.D. program in microbiology. She wants to be part of biomedical research that benefits human health and life.
