Biology, Marine Biology option

I've always had a fascination with the inner workings of living things--particularly sea creatures--and as I grew, I realized that I wished to pursue a career where I could help animals while continuing to learn about their fascinating biology. I had the privilege of both learning from NOAA specialists as well as meeting Dr. Caitlin Hadfield of the Seattle Aquarium and talking with her, which pointed me down the path of pursuing veterinary sciences alongside marine biology. I used to volunteer at Puget Sound Goat rescue, but now I volunteer weekly at Seattle Humane in Bellevue as a Vet Clinic Care Assistant, and I have found that I love working in the fast-paced, organized chaos of the non-profit vet world.

On a more personal note, I've got a pet rabbit named Theta, I've been training in Shudokan Karatedo since I was 4, and if you ever wanna talk video games, I'm your person.

I am incredibly excited to be a part of this program and work with everyone!
