Clare Jayawickrama

Congrats to 2023 HC graduate Clare Jayawickrama! Clare earned an H.B.S. in bioengineering with a minor in Spanish and completed her thesis, “Kinetics of plankton respiration at hypoxic oxygen concentrations,” under the mentorship of Dr. Stephen Giovannoni, the University Distinguished Professor in the Department of Microbiology in the College of Science. After graduation, Clare will be doing a volunteer missionary year at American University in Washington D.C. through the Newman Center.
