Congrats to 2023 HC graduate Daniel Bacher! Daniel earned an H.B.S. in biochemistry and molecular biology and a minor in chemistry and completed his thesis, “Regulation of the Pantoea agglomerans type III secretion system by plant-exuded sugars,” under the mentorship of Dr. Jeff Anderson, an associate professor of botany and plant pathology in the College of Agricultural Sciences. After graduation, Daniel will be joining the Ph.D. program at the University of Minnesota in plant and microbial biology.
