Congrats to 2022 HC graduate Darlene Nguyen! Darlene earned an H.B.S. in ethnic studies and completed her thesis, “Revolutionary Love: Solidarity in the Vietnam Anti-War Movement,” under the mentorship of Dr. Patricia Sakurai, associate professor of ethnic studies in the School of Language, Culture, and Society in the College of Liberal Arts. Next, Darlene plans to do community organizing work in Portland before applying to an ethnic studies Ph.D. program in the Bay Area.
