Congrats to 2024 HC graduate Elijah Routley Elijah earned an H.B.S in mechanical engineering and manufacturing engineering with minors in aerospace engineering and German and completed his thesis, “The Impact of Hafnium Addition on Microhardness and Thermal Behavior of Zr58_Cu23_Ni8_Al11 Metallic Glass” under the mentorship of Dr. Donghua Xu, an associate professor of mechanical, industrial, & manufacturing engineering in the College of Engineering. After graduation, Elijah intends to pursue his master's degree at Saarland University in Saarbrücken, Germany. His dual master's degree will be in materials science & engineering with a specialization in advanced metallic materials. He hopes to one day apply his expertise to the aerospace industry.
