Hi! My name is Eryn Reeder and I am a second-year Honors student at Oregon State University studying chemistry with an option in pre-medicine. I grew up just outside of Springfield, Oregon, spending as much time outdoors as possible. I love living in the Pacific Northwest and that being at OSU offers so many opportunities to get outside!
The Honors College (HC) is one of the biggest reasons I decided to go to OSU. I appreciate the feeling of attending a small college within a large research institution: after spending my first year in the Honors-specific residence halls and going to the many events hosted by the HC, it’s easy to spot familiar faces around campus and in my classes. The HC also offers its students a host of ways to be involved, from camping trips to days of service to trivia nights, and I am an HC Peer Mentor and an officer in the HC Student Association.
I am so stoked to be in the Honors College here at OSU! If you have any questions about the life of an Honors College student or anything else at OSU, just send me an email—and of course, go Beavs!
