Congrats to 2024 HC graduate Ian Todd Ian earned an H.B.S in microbiology and an H.B.A in political science with a minor in chemistry and completed his thesis, “Bloom and Bust: How Streamlined Methylotrophs Influence Oceanic Biogeochemistry” under the mentorship of Dr. Stephen Giovannoni, university distinguished professor of microbiology in the College of Science. After graduation, Ian plans on working for a year and then applying for grants to work in a plant symbiote lab in the Plant Pathology Department at Oregon State.
