Congrats to 2023 HC graduate Jake Roetcisoender! Jake earned an H.B.S. in biochemistry and molecular biology with a minor in chemistry and completed his thesis, “PCR-based Sequencing System across Chlamydia trachomatis,” under the mentorship of Dr. Daniel Rockey, a professor of biomedical science in the Carlson College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, Jake will be attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to pursue a PhD in biomedical sciences.
