Congrats to 2023 HC graduate Jax Richards! Jax earned an H.B.S. in economics, public policy, political science, speech communication and sustainability and completed his thesis, “Rethinking Welfare: An Economic Microsimulation Exploring the Impacts of an Oregon EITC Working Families Tax Credit on Household Poverty,” under the mentorship of Dr. Catherine Bolzendahl, a professor of sociology in the College of Liberal Arts. After graduation, Jax will be earning a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University.
