Congrats to 2024 HC graduate Jay Koontz Jay earned an H.B.S in fisheries & wildlife sciences and completed her thesis, “An Interspecies Social Behavior Study between African Elephants and their Zookeepers” under the mentorship of Dr. Monique Udell, an associate professor of animal and rangeland sciences in the College of Agricultural Sciences. After graduation, Jay is taking a gap year before applying for their master's degree in wildlife conservation/behavior.
