Hi! My name is Kaitlyn Scanlon and I go by she/her pronouns. I'm from Mission Viejo, which is in Orange County, California. I came to OSU undecided and am now majoring in Natural Resources with an option in policy and management and a GIS certificate. Besides being an ambassador, I also co-manage the HC social media pages (give us a follow @osuhonors!). In my spare time, I love hanging out with my cats Kiki and Marmalade, playing piano and guitar, and rock climbing. I joined the Honors College because I liked the idea of deep-diving with a topic through research culminating in a thesis. I began my thesis journey by finding my mentor through the URSA Engage program, which allowed me to present my research poster at a poster fair for the first time! I'm excited to delve further into research on play-based climate change education for youth as I'm at OSU.
