Congratulations to 2021 HC graduate Kennedy Grant! Kennedy graduated with an H.B.S. in biology, an H.B.S. in sustainability, and a minor in chemistry. Kennedy's thesis, "Honey bee (Apis mellifera) colony strength and its effects on pollination and yield in highbush blueberries (Vaccinium corymbosum)," was completed under the mentorship of Andony Melathopoulos, an assistant professor of horticulture in the College of Agricultural Sciences. Next, Kennedy will continue researching honey bee pollination in the Pacific Northwest. Congrats, Kennedy!
