Congrats to 2023 HC graduate Kinsey Popham! Kinsey earned an H.B.S. in mechanical engineering. Kinsey's thesis, “Hindsight is 2020: Improving Future Prototyping Practices based on the Timelines of Past Projects,” was completed under the mentorship of Dr. John Parmigiani, an associate professor of mechanical engineering in the College of Engineering. After graduation, Kinsey will be traveling to Israel and Portugal with a group from Kinsey's church. This will be Kinsey's first time crossing an ocean, and Kinsey's first trip outside of the country in 9 years. When Kinsey returns, Kinsey's plan is to begin Kinsey's career as a manufacturing engineer. Kinsey hopes to improve fabrication and assembly processes for both products and operators, to make their work more enjoyable and meaningful.
