Maddie Giese

Congrats to 2024 HC graduate Maddie Giese Maddie earned an H.B.S in biohealth sciences and medical humanities with a minor in chemistry and completed her thesis, “Hypothesis testing to understand VOC-mediated interactions between Phaeodactylum tricornutum and Roseibium sp.” under the mentorship of Dr. Kimberly Halsey, an associate professor of microbiology in the College of Science. Following graduation, Maddie will be working as a medical assistant at AFC Tigard while applying to medical school.
