Congratulations to 2021 HC graduate Maya Bergmann! Maya graduated with an H.B.S. in environmental sciences and a minor in soil science. Maya's thesis, "Freeze-thaw cycles in permafrost soils and their impacts on the climate: A literature review," was completed under the mentorship of Rebecca Lybrand, an assistant professor of crop and soil science in the College of Agricultural Sciences. Next, Maya will be starting at the Emporia State University graduate school in pursuit of a Master's in Library Science with an archival concentration. Congrats, Maya!
