Congrats to 2022 HC graduate Natalie Johnson! Natalie earned an H.B.S. in biochemistry, molecular biology and medical humanities, and completed her thesis, “Investigating Changes in Osteosarcoma Cell Apoptosis and Proliferation Induced by Mesenchymal Stem Cell Derived Exosomes,” under the mentorship of Dr. Jennifer Johns, assistant professor in the Oregon State University Carlson College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, Natalie will be heading to Washington D.C.’s National Institutes of Health to begin working as a research fellow before applying for M.D./Ph.D. programs.
