Congrats to 2024 HC graduate Nicolas Gonsalves Nicolas earned an H.B.S in mechanical engineering and completed his thesis, “The Laminate Optimization of the Carbon Fiber Monocoque for Formula SAE Car” under the mentorship of Dr. Robert Paasch, an emeritus professor of the School of Mechanical, Industrial, and Manufacturing Engineering in the College of Engineering. Following graduation, Nicolas will be continuing his education at Oregon State University, pursuing a Master of Science in Materials Science under Dr. Devin Roach in the Versatile Additive Manufacturing Lab.
