Congratulations to 2021 HC graduate Rachel DeVyldere! Rachel graduated with an H.B.S. in biology, an H.B.A. in Spanish, and a minor in chemistry. Rachel's thesis, "Analysis of the role of the nitrated HSP90 activated P2X7 receptor on MAP kinases p38 and JNK activation and AKT inhibition in peroxynitrite-mediated cell death pathway," was completed under the mentorship of Alvar Estevez, an associate professor of biochemistry and biophysics in the College of Science.
