Congrats to 2024 HC graduate Sahana Shah! Sahana earned an H.B.S. in biochemistry and biophysics with minors in Spanish and chemistry and completed her thesis, “Determining the Effect of Phosphorylation on SARS-CoV-2 Nucleocapsid Protein via Inducible LC8 Self-Association Mutant,” under the mentorship of Dr. Elisar Barbar, a professor of biochemistry and biophysics in the College of Science. After graduation, Sahana will be working as a research technician at Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine and preparing her medical school applications!
