Congrats to 2022 HC graduate Savannah Taggard! Savannah earned an H.B.S. in biology, with minors in theatre arts and chemistry, and completed her thesis, “Strain-Specific Effects of the Herbicide Roundup on Diverse Natural Isolates of Saccharomyces Cerevisiae,” under the mentorship of Dr. Molly Burke, assistant professor in the Department of Integrative Biology in the College of Science. Next, Savannah will be relocating to Meacham, OR, where she will conduct research on native Eastern Oregon ecology, spend time with friends and family, and work toward sustainable living.
