Congrats to 2023 HC graduate Sirena Prog! Sirena earned an H.B.S. in biohealth sciences with a minor in Spanish and completed her thesis, “Exploring the Community Needs of Groups that are Underserved by Oregon State University’s Counseling & Psychological Services,” under the mentorship of Bonnie Hemrick, assistant director of mental health promotion for Counseling and Psychological Services. After graduation, Sirena plans to take a gap year before pursuing medicine or clinical psychology. In the meantime, she wants to travel internationally, do work exchanges and explore jobs where I can do mental health/ public health outreach.
