Honors College

My name is Tara Conrad, and I grew up in Corbett, Oregon. My interest in veterinary medicine started at a young age with a love for animals, though it grew as I entered high school and joined the Oregon High School Equestrian Team. I have really enjoyed shadowing at large and small animal clinics as well as being able to work with horses through volunteering at a local horse rescue. Currently, I am interested in pursuing a veterinary career related to conservation medicine and research.

I am so grateful for this opportunity, and I’m looking forward to working with my mentor Manoj Pastey and getting to know everyone who is a part of this program!
