After working in student government (ASOSU) as the queer advocacy coordinator, Zane is inspired to return home after graduation with their new skills to establish a community center for cultural resources in their hometown, Hood River, OR. They are looking at opportunities to work in cultural resources for the BIA (Bureau of Indian Affairs) or a local PNW Tribal Nation. Ultimately, they hope to continue creating social justice containers that anchor plants, humans, and the land in relationship.

Currently, they look forward to their trip to Peru this summer to learn about the plant medicines of the Amazon, and have future plans to travel the globe through teaching English abroad.
