Hello! My name is Nozomi (she/her). I am a third year undergraduate majoring in biochemistry & molecular biology on a pre-medicine track. In addition to working as a SLUG staff member, I work as an organic chemistry teaching assistant on campus and as a certified nursing assistant off campus. I love rock climbing, reading, and swimming on my free time. I chose Oregon State University because I was really impressed with the biochemistry program and the ample research opportunities. I applied to the Honors College because I wanted to be part of a smaller community that values student diligence and hard work. I have really enjoyed being at a university that offers ample experiences to complement classroom knowledge. There is always something to do for anything you could possibly be interested in!
