The HC gives you the opportunity to teach a different kind of class — small, full of highly motivated students who are intrigued by holistic approaches to problem solving. Their natural curiosity compels them to find creative answers to original questions. They want to be challenged — you can guide them along the way and get to know them in the process. HC students are also making real contributions to their faculty members’ research projects. 

Most professors who teach Honors College courses do so in addition to teaching in their home departments. By choosing to teach in the HC, they create space for smaller classes where students receive close attention and tailored instruction. Our faculty includes many distinguished members of the OSU community, and we are proud of the impact their teaching and mentorship has on our students.
