Congrats to 2026 HC graduate Riley Callahan! Riley earned an H.B.S in biochemistry and molecular biology with minors in biological data science and chemistry and completed his thesis, "Implementing LC-MS Lipidomics to Study Lipid Synthesis in a Conditional MYC Model,” under the mentorship of Dr. Dan Liefwalker, an assistant professor of biochemistry and biophysics in the College of Science. Following graduation, he will be pursuing a Master's of Science with a fast-track to PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of British Columbia. His research will focus on the epigenetic mechanisms of SETD2 neurodevelopmental disorders.
