Simone Baumgartner

Hi! My name is Simone(she/her) and I am a Chemical Engineering major with minors in Chemistry and Social Justice. I chose to pursue an honors degree at OSU because I wanted to stay in my home state of Oregon for college and thought the honors program would give me a good opportunity to explore different topics. In my free time I love to explore the outdoors with my friends, through either hiking or running. I also love to read and cook. My experience at OSU so far has been very welcoming, and I hope to continue to foster a welcoming environment in the honors college and around the SLUG!
