Congratulations to 2021 HC graduate Simone Burton! Simone graduated with an H.B.S. in biology and a minor in chemistry. Simone's thesis, "Studying the most effective modes of marine science communication on plastic pollution in the oceans," was completed under the mentorship of Diana Rohlman, an assistant professor of environmental and occupational health in the College of Public Health and Human Sciences. Next, Simone will begin a position as an education project assistant at OSU's Hatfield Marine Science Center to work in science communication and public engagement. Congrats, Simone!
