Kevin Stoller, '99, has been a member of the HC community for the past 15 years and currently serves as assistant dean. Throughout his time at HC, Kevin has played an important role in supporting faculty, guiding students, and strengthening the overall academic experience. His leadership and commitment have made a lasting impact on campus. Q: What is your role in the Honors College?
I oversee external engagement, student engagement, communications, operations/facilities, enrollment management (admissions/recruitment), and scholarships.
Q: What's one project or initiative you've worked on that you're especially proud of?
Contributing to increasing scholarship resources for Honors College students.
Q: What kind of questions can you answer from honors community members?
Pretty much anything!
Q: What's something you enjoy doing outside of work?
I like reading, hiking and exploring Oregon, listening to music, basketball, board games and Dungeons and Dragons, hanging with my family and playing piano.
Q: What's a book, podcast or movie that's inspired you or made you think recently?
Ours Was the Shining Future, by David Leonhardt.
Q: If you had the opportunity to work on an HC thesis today, what do you think the theme or title would be?
I would make a collection of creative nonfiction essays.
Q: What's one of your favorite memories or moments from working in the Honors College?
Graduation time!
Q: What's something you've learned from the HC community that's influenced you?
The importance of continuous growth and learning.
