The Honors College understands that the parents and families of honors students are vital partners in supporting student success. The HC offers resources for students and families and can also help connect families and students with other university resources. This page provides information about what is happening in the Honors College and about how you can engage with HC programs and support students throughout the academic year.

Each year, we offer a series of remote events for families on special topics. See below for the 2023-2024 schedule of Honors College family events. Parent and Family Leadership Circle

The Honors College Parent and Family Leadership Circle (PLC) leads the HC's efforts to engage student families and create an accessible and equitable college community. Members of the PLC meet quarterly with Honors College and Oregon State leadership to learn more about the university, network with other honors family members and provide feedback about the family experience. The PLC also plays a vital role in ensuring that all qualified students, regardless of financial means, can fully participate in the HC experience by supporting Honors College differential tuition scholarships.
